Pamela Silver Plenary Speaker at NISE Network Meeting

Providing inspiration to 225 science educators

On December 11, 2012, Pamela Silver gave one of three plenary talks at theNanoscale Informal Science Education (NISE) Network Wide Meeting hosted by the Boston Museum of Science at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Boston. Her talk Organic Nanomanufacturing: Building with Biology got the audience excited about her message that synthetic biology is the nanotechnology of the future. After her talk she was able to discuss translating her research into educational settings nationwide with some of the 225 science educators in attendance. The Boston Museum of Science is the lead institution in the NISE Network.
